Tek208 Quick Release Fire Extinguisher Roll Bar mount easily attaches your fire extinguisher to roll bars and cages from 1.25″ to 2.0″. Easy one hand release of fire extinguisher, built in safety to prevent accidentally release of bottle. Great for UTV’s, Jeeps, Rock Crawlers and Race Cars.  The 1.75″ diameter model fits most Side by Side and UTV’s such as the Polaris RZR and Arctic Wildcat 1000.   Precision engineered and machined from billet aluminum for durable rattle free installation. Fits Amerex B417 & H3R MX250 ABC dry chemical fire extinguisher & Amerex B385TS & H3R HG250 Halotron (clean agent)fire extinguisher which are 3″ in diameter. Will not fit 3.125″ Fire Extinguishers such as Kidde & First Alert.

To build our TEK208 Quick Release Roll cage fire extinguisher mount we start with solid blanks of 6061 T6 billet aluminum for its durably and strength then CNC mill the precision engineered parts to very close tolerances for a secure rattle free installation

After machining each part gets a red or black anodizing treatment to give it a hard long-lasting corrosion resistant finish. We assemble them using all stainless-steel hardware. When mounted all hardware is hidden for a clean look.

    Great fit and finish, mechanism is rifle-bolt, sturdy, no rattles. Took me about 30 min to install. Easy to take the bottle off of the mount with one hand. I looked extensively at all fire extinguisher mount options for a roll cage, and this is hands down the best one.

    Clean quality design, doesn’t rattle. Very happy with this product. Wish it had a little more adjustability for different brands of FE but still impressed with the design and ease of use while still being securely mounted.

      Jeff, we are working on the design to get it to fit more FE models. It is hard to keep a tight clean design that fits multiple sizes.     I reviewed a lot of Fire Extinguisher roll bar mounts before choosing this one. Now that I have it installed on my machine I feel very confident I choose the right one. This unit is rock solid with no rattles or movement and easy / quick on and off the machine. Be advised you need a spring clamp to assist in assembly, it is like having a third hand. Getting the assembly on the Fire Extinguisher is a bit difficult without the spring clamp.

    I recently purchased the TEK208 roll bar mount for the fire extinguisher and I’m glad I did. Whenever you purchase anything online, it can be a gamble but in this case, it paid off. I pride myself in researching things to no end and finding quality products..
    Once you have the mount assembled and it is quite simple, it really is an excellent product.. It will be going into my Mazda MX-5 street/track car and I know it will hold up to the abuse great. I highly recommend the mount for two reasons- it is solid and looks great.

    I have used other quick-release fire extinguisher mounts on prior race cars, and was not pleased by the way they sometimes released themselves. I recently have been using pin-mounts for this reason, although sometimes the pin is not easy to reach. Currently I needed to mount a fire extinguisher on a street driven Porsche with one-piece racing seats, where there is not much room behind the seats. As primary occupant my wife vetoed the customary location on the floor in front of the passenger seat. The TEK 208 mount is more compact than most, and fits the roll bar diagonal support between the seats where it can be released using my left hand while seated in the driver’s seat. That 1/2″ between the fire extinguisher and the bar is 1/3 the spacing needed for separate mounts and bracket combinations, plus the TEK 208 looks a lot better. It fits the H3R Halguard 2.5 lb. extinguisher perfectly. This is a clever design and the machine work is very accurate. The fire extinguisher does not rattle when in the mount, yet releases easily and the release lock button prevents the fire extinguisher from releasing itself when not intended. A nice piece indeed, and I am glad I found your web site.

    I inquired about getting a color other than the black or red. I received a response by the next day. It wasn’t the response i was hoping for, but at least it was answered in a timely fashion. Orange was what i was looking for to match my RZR PRO XP accents, but the black mount with a black extinguisher looks really good. I wasn’t sure whether to get the 1.75″ or 2″ mount. I wanted to mount it on the roof cross bar but wasn’t sure if it would work with the the Poly Sport Roof. I did find a back up position for the 1.75″ mount just above the air intakes so that is what i went with. Mounting was a little tricky as i had to have everything loose so i could rotate and position things while fitting it together. Once i got the angles right and everything tightened i am really impressed with it. I can reach above my right shoulder to access the extinguisher while still belted in, it is also accessible from outside the machine. It seems to be tight and rattle free which is probably the most important factor…I will know more on that when i get to take my machine on its maiden voyage to Sand Hollow in a couple of weeks.

    Hard to keep assembly together when sliding into extinguisher. Scratched it easily when prying apart to get past bottom lip of extinguisher and if you do not keep parts together the spring will pop out.
    On the positive side, once it is mounted, it will stay put and not move or rattle around.

      Sorry you had issues installing it. I find that after you remove bottle rings screws if you set it flat on bench you can push bottle straight down thru without paying on rings.
